"Save and close" will transfer your edited contents back to the
Evolution composer.

Be aware about things like HTML formatting - it's a plain text version
that is copied over to the external editor and back to the composer. So
any fancy formatting is lost.

Also, the plugins are, by definition, third-party components, so help
with them on this list and other Evolution resources may be limited.
