Milan,
Yes I mean reminders and recurrence specifically from the Google Tasks site, which have been supported for a little while now, but they don't show up when I open a task synchronized to my google tasks
which already have reminders and recurrence setup, nor do I have an option to setup reminders and recurrence when I try to create a new task synchronized to my google tasks.
Thanks!

Hi,
Google Tasks can be added when creating a Gmail account, there is a
checkbox to create also calendars (and another for contacts) at the end
of the new mail account wizard, where the one for the calendars also
means the tasks.
Otherwise File->New->Task List->Type: Google, though the one to have
them all together under one account is preferred option, possibly also
the most often used.
If you mean reminders and recurrence specifically, the Google site did
not offer any such thing the last time I checked, their tasks were very
very very simple. Maybe they changed something in the recent year(s),
it's some time since I looked on their Google Tasks API.
Bye,
Milan
