Hello!
Have you taken a look at the Vagrant environment I have on my github [1]
for testing with Ganeti? The best place to start documentation wise is the
Ganeti Walk-thru [2] and then take a look at my tutorial sheet [3] which
uses the vagrant environment to get a feel for it yourself.
Beyond that and into instance-image I would recommend you go over the docs
on the chiliproject site [4] and then dive into the code. Specifically take
a look at the common.sh and create.sh scripts as those are the core scripts
during creation. Ganeti basically executes those. The vagrant environment
will already include instance-image so you can see what's going on with
that.
Specifics on the instance definition and how os-parameters work can be fun
here [5]. Let me know if you have additional questions.
