[gsoc-dev] Update on PGD testing

I've made some great progress with my testing framework!  It now runs our
known good code almost perfectly -- there's a problem rendering the plots
but I think that's related to the virtual machine stuff.  I am working on
testing your branches, and have noticed a few issues:

 * The v1.4 branch does not recognize collectstatic as a valid manage.py
command, even though it's in Django 1.4.  Starting another project and
copying that project's manage.py over ours is probably the best way to go
there, but let me know if you have any trouble.
 * The v1.5 branch has a requirements.txt setting for django of 1.4.  Might
wanna bump that up!

The v1.4 branch works as well as the known good code, by the way.  Can't
wait to see the others.  I will be out of the office from tomorrow until
Wednesday, but I will be reading emails and will try to set aside some time
to test branches as they come out.  Don't forget that next week is midterms!
