Maintain 2.4.1 Bug Report from lieuallt

I was unable to change the IP address of a forward pointer.  I would go to edit it, but when I told it to change the value, it would send me right back to the form and the old IP address was back in place.  I got around it by removing the pointer and creating a new one.

Is this a feature or bug?  :-)  There was no error message.
