The compatibility of Maintain 3 with PHP5 has to be checked and eventually the project has to be modified to be php5.

This involves researching common issues of php4 to 5 migration, changing of the respective code, changing documentation (requirements) etc.

In general, I don't expect it to be a big issue, because most of the (PEAR) libraries used by Maintain are already php5 compatible. But there might be a little tweaking necessary.
