I disagree. It's not that big of an issue that some authentication modules support full names and others don't. We could have a fallback in there so that "getFullName()" (or so) returns the "fullest name applicable". This is the real name if available and the username if not. That's totally transparent.
Still, enabling full name support is maybe not a stupid idea.
