I have the same issue here using Maintain 3.1:
When I want to update a host I get the same error. When I try to fill in some values for these fields (for which the error is reported) the error message disappears but no update is done. After "submit" I'm still in the input mask with the statement "Host is up to date" above. The Host list does not show any modification afterwards.
