[Maintain] Ddns- adhoc, not assigning dynamic ips (only static), etc

Ok, I now appear to have maintain running, subnet figured out, the dhcpd.conf.data being generated, and a cron job moving the file over to /etc/dhcpd.conf and restarting dhcpd every minute.

However, I am having issues.

Dhcpd wants a ddns -adhoc line entered in order to run, and of course since maintain generates the config, I cant manually add this as it will be overwrote.  So, how do I tell maintain to add this ddns line, and have it not assign dynamic ips, only allow static reservations I put in to be distributed?

Also, what DO the check-dhcp and check-dns scripts really do?
