Your LPAR should be setup as a RAID1 so it should be good. The easy way
to test is look at /proc/mdstat since we use software raid. But as a
precaution I'd recommend at least copy any critical data such as
configuration just in case something goes wrong. The last time I did this
we didn't lose any data due to the actual operation but I always like to
play it safe.
