The details are very interesting as there is some consequences on the
performances (buffer sharing), code simplicity and compatibility with
upstream projects.
For instance here are some suggestion on the topics you could cover:
- How precisely is Android graphics stack interfaced with libdrm/libgbm
and similar libraries in general, why is it done that way, and if
applicable why you chose to do it differently, and what are the
consequences?
- Would the chosen implementation be compatible with Wayland? Would
that permit to run Android applications in GNU/Linux. If that is the
case what are the consequences for Replicant.
- Maybe a bit about the upstream (mesa, etc) status of 3D acceleration,
and how it relates to the device we support or could support in the
future.
- How Android upstream do 3D acceleration, and 2D nowadays. What is
used/maintained, what is not.
