[Replicant] signal app

Denver,

Your input is very much welcome on this list. We just recently added
ethernet support for our Replicant devices, in addition to upgrades to
our external wifi dongle support. With your service Replicant users can
use both Signal and do regular text and VOIP phone calls without the
need to use the cellular network. I've used your service in this way for
the last two years, actually.

I also wanted to point out that for people that are uncomfortable with
Signal's apk from their website, another option for Replicant users
might be to install signal-cli via Termux or another terminal app.
https://github.com/AsamK/signal-cli It lacks a GUI, I believe, but might
check some other boxes for people.

Lastly, it'd be interesting to see if someone could set up signal-cli on
a server and have the messages there piped through to an xmpp server so
that users could get signal messages sent directly to their phones via
OMEMO from their server. I haven't thought through the details of this
yet, but figured I'd throw the idea out there.

In Solidarity,
Kurtis
