It was for Replicant 6.0 0004: you did a patch to change the Replicant
version to replicant-6.0 0004.

The idea was the same than with having it print Replicant 6.0 0004: you
can identify which build it comes from. 

However when I think again about it, it's probably better to drop that
patch: The idea was to help differentiate the -dev builds from the rest
of the releases. 

But as Wolfgang did all the previous Replicant 6.0 releases until the
0003 and that the RC ones are marked with -rc1 and -rc2, and made by
me, it's easy to differentiate between:
- RC releases and future Replicant releases
- -dev builds

And not having that patch is better as you get the build date and
whatnot in the version.
