I think I might have tried all versions of Replicant but for the sake of this, have reflashed 6.0 0004 RC4. It doesn't work, I'm getting a "unknown baseband version" in the "About phone" contextual menu...

If you don't subscribe, someone has to approve each of your posts, or
to whitelist your mail address and you then only receive the messages
that have your mail address in To/Cc or Bcc.

It can be convenient in some situations, for instance if you only want
to ask a question and only follow its replies.

Which exact Replicant version did you try?

There was a bug in one of the Replicant 6 components that made a lot of
SIM not detected anymore.

Thanks to Belgin (a contributor) it's now fixed, but we didn't made a
release with that fix yet.

Fortunately we have test images like Replicant 6.0 0004 RC4 that
contain the fix.

So it might be worth trying such images. Note that they might contain
bugs as they are test images.

In addition, the migration of the data partition is automatic in
the Replicant 6.0 0004 RC4 images but it has not been tested enough, so
it might contains bugs.

If such bug is encountered you might need to either try to fix it
yourself (we have scripts for that) but it's still time consuming and
complicated even with the scripts, or simply reformat the data
partition (and loose all the data that was inside).

So if you have any precious data it's best to do a backup before trying
such images (and after too, as we had a report of an issue that
occurred after).

Denis.
