Hi,

I hope there's still someone reading this list. Haven't seen a message
in a while.

I have been trying to use SMSBackup+ for a while and I can't make it
do anything. Even after reset it claims there is nothing to backup.

I have a local dovecot/imap server that I tested with
mutt -f imaps://<computer-name>/<mailbox> and it works fine.
Connection information appears in /var/log/mail.info.

I have set up SMSBackup+ to connect to this custom IMAP server
(<local-IP-address>:993) with the user name and password I give
to mutt in the above command. The first time after installation
and all subsequent times even after a reset, it does nothing,
claiming there is nothing to back up, which is absolutely not
true: I have hundreds of texts, call logs, etc...

I have just reinstalled and reconfigured it (from F-droid) and the
hehavior is still the same. Nothing shows up in the mail.info of
the server and SMSBackup+ says:

Backup requested (manual)
Starting backup (MANUAL)
Skipped (no items found)

I have searched and searched but found nothing that could even hint
at a solution.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Running Android 4.2.2 on a Samsung Galaxy S (Cyanogenmod, as replicant
doesn't run on this old phone, which otherwise does the job)

Thanks for any help.

Augustine
