I have done that already. IIUC, dnscrypt-proxy is free software:

What caught my attention:
The last link is not quite popular (only 40 stars). That's why I wonder
how much this free software has been verified by the community. IOW, I
have a concern about security and I don't know how to be sure of that.
Back to the discussion in the main dnscrypt-proxy project, the only
mention of Android version is in this reply:

It talks about LOS 7.1.2. It is not clear how compatible all that is
with Replicant 6.
I am not a developer and before following blindly instructions not
specifically for Replicant, I am looking for help with how to do all
this correctly, considering the specifics of Replicant.
