[Replicant] DNSCrypt on Replicant?

After a lengthy research, I posted my findings in an issue on dnscrypt-proxy's official GitHub repo:

The specific problems I am still facing are summarized there. The maintainer of the repo says he is not familiar with Android, so I hope someone here can help with the Android specifics. The problem looks simple, I am just not an Android dev/expert and don't know how to fix it. All that is necessary is a simple init.d script to start the service correctly at boot time.

Ideally, we can end up with a decent short doc about how to set up dnscrypt-proxy on Replicant properly. As soon as the procedure is clear, I can help with that.
