Contacts and calendar sync support?

You can use the Funambol sync provider, available via the FDroid repo.

You can either set up your own syncml server or use a commercial

I had this running in a preliminary setup, but my phone broke and life 
got in the way.

The Funambol sync provider works completely, AFAIR. Earlier versions did 
not support syncing for everything. My memory is very hazy here.

I'd appreciate it if you could share your notes and experiences if you 
decide to go down this route, as I need to set this up again ;)
