Buying phone for Replicant

Right, the CDMA versions of these phones are not supported by Replicant.
GSM versions (generally speaking, phones with a SIM card slot) should
work fine. Replicant is known to work on the following Nexus S versions:
I9023, I9020, I9020A and the international I9000 Galaxy S version. Take
care about Galaxy S: there are several derivatives with "Galaxy S" in
their name, but only I9000 will work.

Sure thing. Many of us are using Replicant daily as a phone. I can't
tell you that it's perfectly stable and has no flaws, but it honestly is
usable and we are working to eliminate the remaining issues.

Definitely make sure it's the international I9000 GSM version.
