Status Replicant 4.0 on GTA04?

Hello,
I recently subscribed to this list because I would like to push and help
with Replicant 4.0 on GTA04.

But the main entrance barrier appears to be that there is no repository for
download. And components and/or script are missing and people are trying to
figure out how to manually download and patch things [1]. IMHO, this should
be (made) possible in the same way as the Replicant 2.3 tree can be (completely)
installed - just by replacing 2.3 with 4.0.

Unfortunately I am not myself experienced with this so that I don't know exactly
what is missing.

Maybe someone can tell a little about the status? Or even better make
the installation complete - so that it becomes easier to help developing
and new developers can concentrate on their area of expertise (e.g. kernel).

Sorry for starting as a freshman to this list with a minor rant...
