Which phone should I buy for running Replicant?

You will probably be saddened to know that your device runs many
non-free firmwares in the chips that work with Trisquel.

e.g. your WiFi thing has a non-free firmware running in it, it's simply
not loaded software, but it is still, even though the FSF and RMS would
disagree on that, but I do believe it's still software and deserves the
four freedom, regardless of how easy it is to replace it. It is up to
you to make a compromise for that sort of non-loaded firmwares, but keep
in mind it is a compromise, not an ideal situation.

Very few devices can actually run with free firmwares, as John
highlighted with a link to the Respect Your Freedom list.

Moreover, you probably have a non-free BIOS, which is an obvious exemple
of non-free software running on your system even though you have
Trisquel.
