What you describe is very strange. Is it really only the phone's battery
that you are changing? I don't see how this would affect the modem at
all.
In any way, you should provide logs so that we can understand what is
happening: radio log of when it works with Replicant, radio log of when
it doesn't work with Replicant (when the battery is swapped) and radio
log from CyanogenMod (also when the battery is swapped). Please open an
issue on our redmine instance so that we can try to fix this!
