[Replicant] CyanogenMod privacy

Hi,

those are mostly used for:

2.android.pool.ntp.org 			- NTP Time synchronization
gllto.glpals.com 				- Usually assisted GPS sattellite data updates are downloaded from here
download.cyanogenmod.org 		- CM Update checker

As for clients3.google.com - it seems that it’s used for network connectivity detection (e.g. the mechanism that shows a wifi captcha notification when your wifi isn’t open by default). It seems that Android does request to http://clients3.google.com/generate_204 and checks if 204 is returned (see http://www.chromium.org/chromium-os/chromiumos-design-docs/network-portal-detection ).

Regards,
Jernej

Just flashed my device with cm-11-20150103-NIGHTLY and patched with freecyngn.
No additional apps were installed.

I was curious and put first connection traffic through Wireshark,
and saw this DNS requests made by device:

2.android.pool.ntp.org
clients3.google.com
gllto.glpals.com
download.cyanogenmod.org

Does anybody know the purpose of each of this?
