Thanks for all your work on Replicant too. I've been a happy Replicant
device owner for more than 4 years now. :)

I should mention that I only briefly switched on the phone on with the
stock operating system before installing Replicant.  I didn't actually
insert a SIM card and check that telephony worked. I guess there is a
chance that the device is faulty, but it was brand new (sealed box).

$ adb shell ls -la /efs/
opendir failed, Permission denied

$ adb shell "ls -la / | grep efs"

I'm not really familiar with how you get elevated permissions under
Android I'm afraid.
