Hi,
GSD4T seem to be supported somehow by gpsd.
Maybe some people having the Galaxy nexus could give a try, I don't
have it anymore.
Here's my findings:

There also other commits mentioning SIRF-IV.
I already tried long time ago, and put that in the Replicant wiki[1].
Some hints:

F-Droid has an application to install a Debian chroot, assuming the
debootstrap doesn't have issue with the lack of free space, that might
be an easy way to try gpsd.

PS: Note that the galaxy nexus has a proprietary and signed bootloader,
so I wonder how much time it's worth.
