Nice too know. Maybe can tell that in the howto.

I found the script not really easy to understand. And I did not want
NFC. That was a reason for me not to use the script.

Not sure what you are telling. I can understand you will not encourange
or recommend people to use non-free firmware. I don't like that too,
that's the reason I user Replicant.
But sometimes features are important. In my case I don't have UMTS, 3G
or GRPS inside my appartement, I had to go outside to install an app and
that's annoying. That's the reason I wanted the wifi firmware.
What I don't know if it's "not done" to ask questions about non-free
issues in this mailing list. For me it's important to "talk about
everything".
E.g.: I have a friend who wants to use a non-free application. It gives
information about delays in the public transport here in the Netherlands
and it's important for her. The application does not give an helpfull
error while installing, but says "not installed" at the end of the
proces. I've heard some applications need an API what's distributed with
the Google apps. Will that be the problem? How to be sure?
