This is not true. Only IceCat have a add-on repository that only contains free software: http://trisquel.info/browser

I've struggled sort out the 600 free add-ons from AMO to IceCat that will be the new repository: http://directory.fsf.org/wiki/Free_Software_Directory:IceCat_extensions_(proposed)
