Yeah, I agree. Here is an idea. Create a clean fdroid repo built on a
machine running a libre OS and a home-built free Android SDK instead of
binary-only downloaded SDK's -- ideally, all built in a reproducible way
-- and publish that together with a fork of fdroid that doesn't have the
features related to non-free software.
I haven't seen any OS's that compromise support for free and non-free
software that get FSF's blessing. As I understand it, Debian fails on
this aspect.
