The update procedure as described in Replicant wiki erases all the
operating system data.
This means that:
- All applications settings will be lost (they are in the data
partition and that partition is erased)
- The data which is on the microSD card should not be lost.
- The data which is on the internal storage partition should not be
lost. This partition has a similar use case than a microSD.
