Hi Magimai,
I'm not an expert but it seems to me you will find some useful answers  on this topic in the FAQ (https://www.replicant.us/about.php#faq).

The first question give some details about bootloaders which will probably interest you.

Some other questions will give you better understanding of what Replicant does and does not.
